Blue Stocking is inspired by the original Blue Stocking Salons of the 1750s, gatherings known for conversation, ideas, learning, and mutual uplift. We carry that spirit forward by building apps that support modern communities through practical, human-centered design.
Our perspective is informed by the realities of everyday life: preparing, remembering, coordinating, caregiving, adapting, deciding, and staying connected. Some of that work is shared across communities, while other aspects are experienced differently by women. This is why our studio can create both inclusive community apps and products designed specifically for women’s needs and experiences.
